Some people try doing sales work from home and love it. They enjoy the variety of clients, the excitement of making a sale, and the opportunities to increase their invoices. Over time, they build their work-at-home sales business and enjoy work that fits their schedule and income goals.

Other people use sales as a starting point for their work-at-home business. Sales calls are a great way to hone your customer services skills, build confidence, and build up good performance statistics for your business - which can give you an edge when opting into other call types like customer service or insurance claims.

LiveOps independent work-at-home sales agents are not telemarketers; they are brand ambassadors who take inbound calls from people who want to place and order or learn more about a product or service. As an independent sales agent your goal is to connect people with the products or services they need while increasing customer loyalty, not just to make a sale.

Most of our client companies do research to help them compile easy-to-follow scripts that will guide you through the sales call and provide you with the language to use when offering add-ons and upsells that can increase the sale (and your invoice).

Some people will say no, but you should remember that you are simply offering them a choice. If you don’t make the offer, then you are saying no for the caller and they may miss out on something they would have wanted. If you continue to follow the scripts you will find that some people are excited about the add-on or upsell and are glad you gave them the opportunity to say yes. These positive experiences will help you build confidence. The key is to have faith in the scripts, make the offers, and give callers a chance to say yes!
