In 2000, LiveOps realized that there were many skilled people who wanted to work from home, but whose schedules were scattered or unpredictable which made it difficult for them to get a traditional job.
At the same time, LiveOps was talking to companies who wanted to provide great customer service, but were having trouble staffing their call centers. Sometimes the call volume would be too high for their staff to handle, but other times it was too low to justify adding more call center representatives.
LiveOps saw an opportunity to help these two groups connect. We developed a system, where independent agents who wanted to work from home and were motivated to build their own business could connect with companies who need skilled call center agents to represent their brands.
Through online certification modules available to agents, companies can provide information about their product or service and include any requirements. A scheduling tool shows independent agents when call representatives are needed for certain programs, and allows them to schedule the times they want their business to work. LiveOps has also incorporated an easy tool for invoicing so that agents do not have to invoice all of the companies they provide services for separately.
