For Angela, LiveOps meant the opportunity to leave a high-stress sales job to work from home and become her own boss, something she is very proud of. Angela uses her business skills to stay focused on her goals, making sure that she has time to spend with her family while still earning the money she needs.
Angela started her work from home journey with LiveOps Nation in 2012 and has some great advice for new agents:
“If you're going to do this, I recommend you take it seriously, just as you would working any other job. Also realize that it may take some time to build up your call volume and to prepare financially for the time it takes to build some good stats in order to drive your call volume to a good level. I also cannot stress enough how important it is to offer every upsell on every call and to use every rebuttal possible for every no. Affinity offers may seem difficult to present at first, but you need to look at them as an opportunity to make more money for your home based business.
I keep a daily calendar, where I keep track of how many clubs, magazines, and transfers I've made for the day in order to help me calculate my [invoice amount] for the day. Having a daily goal is also great for helping to make sure you attain that goal by the end of your [invoice] period. Smile, breathe & enjoy your job! Remember, the callers can't see you, so in effect, you're an actor putting on a show ”
