Liveops is seeking Licensed Life and Health Insurance Sales Agents who have the drive to sell insurance and the passion to make a difference in the lives of customers searching for the right plan. With Liveops, as a self-employed independent contractor, you can opt into programs to sell Insurance when and where you choose.
As an Independent Contractor (IC) - you’re your own boss and you:
- Are self-employed and thus have the freedom, flexibility & autonomy to choose when and to whom you provide independent contractor virtual teleservices
- Set your own schedule
Are responsible for providing a distraction free, home office and business space to take calls and provide services
ICs remotely handle inbound/outbound customer calls for insurance industry clients during which they assess the caller’s needs and creatively solve problems providing sound solutions.
Successful Licensed Insurance ICs:
- Currently hold an active Life & Health Insurance Licenses in your resident state PLUS hold additional Life & Health licenses in 4 additional non-resident states
- Are a goal-oriented, with excellent sales skills
- Are passionate about insurance and have charisma to connect with people
- Possess strong communication skills and can overcome customer objections when negotiating a sale
- Have a desire to set your own schedule, work when and how much you want and be your own boss
- Want the flexibility that comes with being a NON-CAPTIVE agent
- Can learn and use customized software and applications
Compensation Structure for Independent Contractors:
As a small business owner, you will submit invoices and receive payment for completed services. ICs invoice based on productive time spent assisting customers plus an agent commission. Actual earnings vary.
ICs are self-employed 1099 Independent Contractors. As such, ICs are responsible for paying their own taxes and expenses.
Hours:
Independent Contractor Agents choose their own schedule by self-scheduling in 30-minute blocks. Successful Insurance Sales Agents can commit to at least 15 hours per week. Keep in mind: the more hours you can commit to, the more plans you can sell, the greater your earning potential.
Calls for this program generally come in:
- Monday – Friday from 8am to 10pm ET
Saturdays from 9am to 5pm ET

A PC is required. Macs or Chromebooks are not currently supported
How To Become a Licensed Insurance ICs:
1. An IC must live permanently in & provide services from one of the following states:
AK, AL, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV, WY
2. Possess an active Life & Health insurance license in your resident state AND active Life & Health licenses in an additional 4 non-resident states.

3. Complete the application process, including a basic technology requirements check
4. Complete the onboarding process including:
- Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA)
- Pass an identity verification and background check.
- The background check requires a non-refundable $25 processing fee paid directly to the background check vendor.

5. Select an upcoming licensed insurance client opportunity
6. Complete any program-required certification.
- Program certifications are specific to a client and are focused on learning to access the client’s systems and processes, not about learning to sell insurance.
- All Independent Contractor Agents must complete client certification for the programs they opt into.
Important Notes:
Some client opportunities may have additional requirements, including expanded client-specific certification.
Some client programs may require ICs to provide services above-posted minimum standards to maintain eligibility.
