When the tech industry downsized, she found a new opportunity for success
“I have an A.S. in computer technology, a B.S. in information systems, an MBA and an MA in government. I left the tech industry as an engineering project manager at the end of 2001 when the industry was going through its downsizing throes. A friend of mine suggested I look at Liveops. It was the perfect opportunity to try my hand at something new.
My nature is to do the best that I can do at whatever I take on. That means understanding the product I am selling and the policies of the company I am representing as a customer service agent. My nature is to do the best that I can do at whatever I take on. That means understanding the product I am selling and the policies of the company I am representing as a customer service agent. I know how I like to be treated and if I’m not happy with the way a call went, I try to think through what I could have done differently to obtain a better outcome.
Being an independent agent and running my own business, allows me to supplement my retirement income. I love the freedom that brings; I don’t feel trapped in that ‘fixed’ income mindset. I set my own work hours. There’s no having to ask your boss for a day off or getting manager approval to go on vacation.
I am proud to associate my business with a trusted company like Liveops. Thank you for the opportunity to try my hand at so many different opportunities and for making it possible for me to do it working at home, running my own business, successfully, for so many years.”
