Philadelphia roadshow recap

Another successful  roadshow in the books

We’re back from the “City of Brotherly Love” and the second roadshow of 2018! Hosted at Maggiano’s Little Italy, more than 30 members of Liveops Nation gathered just outside the city to spend facetime with their colleagues, enjoy a delicious lunch, and learn how to improve their businesses. Traveling far and wide to attend (with one agent coming from over 400 miles away!), the excitement in the room was palpable.

Representing Liveops were Greg Hanover (CEO), Ron Williamson (SVP of Operations) and a number of other employees. Everyone chatted over Icebreaker Bingo, enjoyed a fabulous Italian meal--stuffed mushrooms and baked ziti anyone?)--and got right down to business asking questions.

Connect and learn

This year we’re focusing on helping agents make strong connections while working in small groups to dig in and learn from each other. Agents were grouped according to the programs they support, which fostered a deep dive into the sharing of best practices specific to each call type. At the end of this break-out session, each table shared their top tip for success with the entire group.

Some of the top tips were:

  • Be your authentic self and find what works for you.
  • If you can manage it, a second monitor is so helpful and WORTH IT.
  • When you have downtime, re-take certifications in Liveops University! There is so much helpful information in there and you can continue to grow and learn!

With agent contract length running the gamut from 12 years to brand new agents who are gearing up for their first call, the common thread was professionalism, commitment and a desire to perform at the highest level.

The Q&A portion of the event was lively with talk of changes in the contact center industry, improvements in technology, and the freedom of choice agents will have as Liveops' client base continues to expand.

Up next

With in-person events, virtual sessions, and our own private online community, contracting with Liveops means multiple opportunities for support, connection and growth. Learn more about becoming an agent, and hopefully we’ll see you at our next event in Chicago, IL on Tuesday, July 31st!
